Dat is inderdaad handig.
Niet verder vertellen, anders loopt zometeen heel het land in zo'n shirt, dat is ook niet cool.

Rembrandt Niet geregistreerd | Ajax Up For Dynamos Challenge
04/09/03
Ajax Cape Town will be looking to continue their good start to the season when they travel up to Giyani on Sunday to take on Dynamos in a Castle Premiership fixture. We spoke to new captain Alfred Phiri to find out what the mood in the Urban Warriors' camp is like, as they prepare for the weekend's game.
"Everything has being going smoothly," says Phiri, "We really could not have asked for a better start to the season. Although we are all feeling very confident, the players still know the importance of not letting the Hellenic victory go to our heads and we also realise that the season is long and it is vital that we take things one game at a time."
Many people have singled out Alex Bapela and Adam Ndlovu as the danger men in the Dynamos squad, but Phiri doesn't necessarily agree.
"Sure, those two are quality players who have a lot of experience, but we won't have any special plans to keep them in check. I saw Dynamos play in the Supa 8 game against Cosmos, and I respect the whole team as a side who is full of good players, who all work very hard for each other.
"We certainly won't be underestimating anyone, but our intention is still to go and collect maximum points which will ensure we stay top of the league table."
Much has also been made of the heat factor up North at this time of the year, especially in the light of recent happenings such as the passing of Marc-Vivian Foe and several other less fatal incidents, but this does not concern the Ajax skipper too much.
"Sure the heat could be a problem, but I am not too worried because we have had a really thorough pre-season training period, and all the guys are feeling strong. On top of that, our four DRC players are all used to even more extreme conditions in their home country."
Ajax are looking to make amends for a disappointing campaign last year, when they narrowly missed out on relegation on the final day of the season.

Ajax cement top spot in PSL
Mon, 08 Sep 2003
DRC international Mulekelayi Kanku scored a 79th minute goal to give Ajax Cape Town a 2-1 victory over Dynamos in a bruising encounter at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The result sees the Urban Warriors cement themselves at the top of the log with two wins from two games, having also scored five goals in the process.
Dynamos dominated the early exchanges, but failed to capitalise on their chances. Adam Ndlovu was guilty of two early missed chances — the first in the third minute from a powerful strike which went just wide, while another shot from close range in the tenth minute also failed to find the back of the net for the home team.
The Cape Town club managed to fight back and went into the half-time 1-0 up thanks to a Joseph Ngake goal in the 39th minute. Ngake has now scored four goals in two games after his hat-trick against Hellenic in Ajax's opening league game.
Dynamos came out fighting in the second stanza and immediately put themselves back in contention when Ndlovu equalised in the 46th minute.
The home team had several more chances to go into the lead but were made to rue their mistakes when Kanku scored what proved to be the winner for Ajax with just over ten minutes remaining.

Rembrandt Niet geregistreerd | Ajax beat Cosmos
Cape Town - Jomo Cosmos have suffered their first defeat of the season when they were beaten 2-1 by Ajax Cape Town in a Castle Premiership soccer league match at Newlands. All the goals were scored in the first half.
Ajax now remain the only team in the league with full points.
The game was hard and robust and six players were booked by referee Daniel Bennett - four of Cosmos and two of Ajax.
Cosmos started with a bang and in the second minute Samo Cunha attacked, but lucky for Ajax, Tsholola Tshinyama headed off the line. Ajax took the lead in the fifth minute when Mulekelayi Kanku took a free kick on the left and Cyrille Kitambala rose high above the Cosmos defenders to head home.
This was the first goal Cosmos have conceded this year.
Ajax doubled the score in the 15th minute when they were awarded a free kick just outside the box. Alfred Phiri just tapped the ball to Bradley August, whose low shot went in next to the near upright.

Vak: - Posts: 277 Reg.: 26 juni 2004 | Cape duo off to Barca
Two of Cape Town's talented soccer youngsters - striker Romano Scott and midfielder Mkhanyiseli "Makalakes" Siwahla - have been invited to a trial at top Spanish club Barcelona.
Both players were with Ajax Cape Town last season.
Their trial was confirmed by former South African footballer Steve "Kalamazoo" Mokone, who was instrumental in getting the duo a trial at the club.
Mokone saw Siwahla playing for the Ajax under-17 team in a tournament in Orlando, Florida, last December.
At the time he thought Siwahla was a better prospect than Freddie Adu, the Ghanaian-born American who has been hailed as a future superstar.
The two players are managed by former Cape Town footballer Mark 'Boontjie" Williams.
Williams said today: "I have signed an agreement to work with international soccer agent Herman Rijkaard, so the players will be well looked after."
Scott is currently in the national under-20 team who play Lesotho away this weekend.
Speaking from Johannesburg, where the team was in camp, Scott said: "I am over the moon for just getting an opportunity to grace the field with Barcelona players. It is every player's dream to play for a big club... and Barcelona is big."
Siwahla caused a sensation when he made his Premier League debut for Ajax last season. He scored the first goal in their 3-0 victory over Dynamos in an Absa Cup match.
Although there were queries about his age, Siwahla said he would be 16 on September 3.
"I am very excited about the trial and am working hard at my game, because I want to make it at a big club," said Siwahla.

Petim (1985) signs professional contract with Ajax
02/08/04
Ajax Cape Town has offered junior goalkeeper Andre Petim a professional contract.
The highly-rated 18-year-old was voted Player of the tournament at last season's Metropolitan Cup tournament and is set to become understudy to the Urban Warriors' Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs.
Petim is said to be delighted to be given the opportunity to prove his worth, he said, "I cannot believe that after four years at Ajax that I am given the chance in the PSL for Ajax Cape Town.
"I know that I will have to work hard at my game as we have two other keepers aiming for a place in the Ajax starting line-up, but under the guidance of Andre Bronkhorst I will reach my goal.
"One must remember that Bronkhorst has worked with the two of the best keepers to pull on the Bafana shirt. I am to follow in Andre's (Arendse) and Moeneeb's (Josephs) footsteps and represent Bafana one day".
The signing of Petim also displays Ajax's youth development policy and fans could well see a few more youngsters coming through the ranks soon. He is the third player from the Ajax youth system to be signed for the senior team this year. The other two are Granwald Scott(1987) and Mfundo Shumano(1985).
"Granwald is a very talented midfield player with huge potential. He is still very inexperienced, and I am bringing him into the squad to learn from the senior players and gain more experience. He is only 16 years old and it will be tough for him, but I am confident in his ability, said Igesund.
"Hadji (who is the U20 national Captain) is more experienced and is also a promising young player who has impressed tremendously in the junior ranks and will now get his chance to prove himself at first team level."
Mfundo Shumana, Granwald Scott and Nhlanhla Shabalala(1985) are some of the players who started their junior football under the watchful eye of Gorowa and his knowledge of their weak points and their strengths is one thing the young coach will be helping boss Igesund with.

Spannend hoor.

quote: Ajax to put their 'young gun' on the field
Ajax Cape Town are about to unleash the new Steven Pienaar on the city's soccer fans.
Okay, scrap that. Because this 16-year-old midfielder's name is Granwald Scott and he doesn't need any comparison to Ajax Amsterdam's Pienaar. He is good player in his own right.
In fact, according to Ajax coach Gordon Igesund, "this lad is even better than Pienaar".
Ajax have a tough two-match programme over the next week.
'It's crucial we get a win from it'
On Friday night they take on Black Leopards in a Premier League match at Newlands (8pm) and then, next Wednesday, it's the much-anticipated friendly against mother club, Dutch soccer giants Ajax Amsterdam (7.30pm) at the same venue.
And Igesund already has plans for the precocious Scott to stamp his undoubted class on proceedings.
"I'm still deciding what to do with him tomorrow, but he will play against Ajax Amsterdam," said Igesund. "He will also play a part in the match against Leopards tomorrow."
"I'm just not sure whether to throw him in at the deep end and start him, or whether I should hold him back for 30 minutes at the end. But he's ready for the big time, that much I can tell you.
"I have the greatest respect for Steven Pienaar. He is good professional and a wonderful talent. But I'll stick my neck out and say that Granwald (Scott) has the potential to be even better. He just has to keep his feet on the ground.
"He is a quiet lad, but he has the ability to change things in a game with one stroke of genius. I'm very excited at having such a great player at my disposal."
And Igesund's gushing praise is not biased. Legendary former Ajax Amsterdam and Real Madrid coach Louis van Gaal spent some time at Ajax Cape Town last year and his recommendation was that the Cape club get Scott into the first team as soon as possible - that's how impressed he was with the young player.
Scott is hoping to emulate the road to success taken by Pienaar, who will be here next week for a match against his former club.
Pienaar made his debut for Ajax Cape Town as a raw but multi-talented 16-year-old a few years ago. He set the local soccer scene ablaze with some scintillating performances before signing a lucrative five-year contract with Ajax Amsterdam.
But before Igesund can even think about playing the Dutch super club next week, he first has to negotiate a tricky Premier League fixture against Leopards on Friday.
"It's a big, big game," he said. "It's crucial we get a win from it. Despite tampering often with selection last year in trying to get the right combinations going, we still managed to fight our way to fourth place on the league table.
"We are in a great position to challenge for the title. It's looking good. We never had much of a break over the festive season. We need to keep the momentum going and keep playing with determination and commitment. Above all, we need the points against Leopards tomorrow. Nothing less will suffice."
Then, on Wednesday, it's Ajax Amsterdam, where Igesund wants to show the Dutch the young, exciting squad that carry the Ajax brand here in the Mother City.
Scott will have an international shop window to display his talent - and so, too, will some of the other promising Ajax Cape Town players. And, on the opposing side, Pienaar will be there, too.
Pienaar and Scott - a case of the king and the pretender to the throne.
Or does - as Igesund suggests - the prince already wear the crown?
Misschien een leuk talent voor Ajax ?
