Buiten het geld is er voor een weldenkende voetballer met zijn talent en zijn perspectieven geen enkele reden om voor dat clubje te tekenen. Vurnon is niet goed bij zijn hoofd.

During last season we played our best football playing 4-3-3. Anita could fit straight in to that system alongside Tiote and Cabaye.

The only problem is we also play 4-4-2. Pardew has also hinted that Demba Ba will play as a striker "90%" of the time. I say this because when we switched to 4-3-3, Ba was moved to the left hand side of a front three and he stopped scoring and didn't enjoy playing there.

So those comments would suggest we will play 4-4-2 a lot more because Cisse cannot play out wide.

Having said that, we play better in a 4-3-3 than a 4-2-2. Pardew maybe looking at another way of playing three in midfield with two strikers.

We also have problems in January when the African Nations comes around. Ivory Coast (Tiote) meet Senegal (Ba, Cisse) in a playoff match to see who goes to the tournament. I imagine Ivory Coast will win which means Anita would definitely play.

I suppose we'll have to see what happens when we play 4-4-2. Maybe Pardew will play Anita left back and move Santon to the right back. I don't think Anita will play there much though because it seems he wanted re-assurances that he'd be playing midfield before signing.

With all the respect to you, you seem to be a nice guy, I want to say that we don't give a f*ck about Newcastle and we don't care how you will play and with which players.

Ajax is one of the biggest clubs in the world and it is a disgrace that any Ajax player would sign for a shit club like Newcastle.

However if Vurnon Anita chooses to sign for such a meaningless club I wish him all the luck (not). He will not bring your club to a higher level but he will earn your badly spend millions and rot in the sun for the rest of his life.

Anyway don't bother us with stories about Pardew, Ba and Tiote because we don't give a sh*t.

Of course it will be difficult to play for the first four positions, however we did compete for it last season.

With all respect to the Dutch league, the Premiership is in the top two leagues in the world.

Has money been a big reason? Of course it has, but I don't think joining us is a bad move. I think he's joining us at a good period.

I know in the past Newcastle has been a place where many foreign players have come and failed, but we're in a very different scenario now.

I think in the past almost all the foreign players we signed came for money. I hope Anita hasn't come just for that.

We've been signing players from abroad who wanted to prove themselves in one of the biggest leagues.

This is why players like Tiote, Cabaye and Cisse have shone.

Obviously this season will be harder because we have to play Europa League games aswell.

I do think if we sign Anita, and hopefully Debuchy we can again challenge the top four.

I don't think we will though, I imagine we'll finish 6th.

Screw you Anita.

Ik zal je een geheimpje verklappen. Ajax is niet een van de grootste clubs ter wereld. Ajax is de grootste club van Amsterdam. NUFc is een grotere club dan Ajax. Een grotere en trouwere aanhang, hoger budget en meer merchandisinginkomsten.

Which is obviously not due to Newcastle. I could understand a move to Arsenal, for example. But Newcastle? It's just a little bit better than Southampton or Reading, which leads me to believe it's just a money related transfer.

Voor diegene die zich aan mijn taalgebruik stoorden: Excuses.

Moraal van het verhaal: Belachelijk dat je als basisspeler van Ajax vertrekt naar een Engelse middenmoter geholpen door een louche zaakwaarnemer. Ik word hier werkelijk misselijk van. Sportieve ambities spelen geen enkele rol meer. En dan gaan we op een Ajax forum discussieren over welk systeem deze Engelse middenmoter zou moeten gaan spelen en hoe onze Vurnon hier in zou passen. Dat irriteert mij. Als je zonnodig naar Newcastle United wilt (pfff) dan slotje erop en nooit meer terugkeren.
Maar ik had dit wel iets anders kunnen verwoorden.

Ben in Newcastle geweest en ook bij de derby Newcastle - Sunderland, maar kon weinig dingen bekennen die niet klopten. Taalgebruik niet helemaal netjes, maar het gevoel van een Ajacied is naar mijn idee hier goed verwoord.

Dat is toch al langer zo, Suarez is ook maar naar Liverpool gegaan, dat is momenteel ook maar een middenmoter in Engeland. Het probleem is gewoon dat de PL dusdanig groot is geworden en er daardoor enorme bedragen in omgaan dat Ajax daarmee gewoon niet meer kan concurreren. Want bij de nummer laatst van de PL kun je ongeveer hetzelfde salaris verdienen als bij Ajax om maar even het verschil aan te geven, nu zul je wss wel gaan zeggen, sportieve ambities gaan altijd voor. Maar de voetballers kiezen steeds vaker voor om al vroeg voor het geld te kiezen om zo meer zekerheid te hebben, er zijn maar weinig spelers die een verdriedubbeling van hun salaris afslaan omdat het niet strookt met hun sportieve ambities. Dat is gewoon de harde realiteit.

Whilst we may not be one of the top four teams in the country, outside of that group we are the biggest club in England.

I'm sure Anita could play for one of the top four teams in the league, we have many players who could be playing for one of those teams.

I think it comes down to good scouting from our staff.

Leaving a football giant like AFC Ajax for a club like Newcastle United is like leaving Marilyn Monroe for the Elephant man.

Anita is very important to our team and one of the main reasons we have won the domestic title the last two seasons. Anita has everything he wants here. He can play in a team that challenges for the title, play in the Champions League and he has a guaranteed spot in the starting line-up. That's why a lot of Ajax fans can't understand his move to Newcastle United. Offcourse, the competition is better and he can earn more money, but that's about it. I think that a football player wants to win prizes and play in the Champions League. I don't see that happening for him.
